Hi Guys,

I have just had a demo with a Faro Focus M70. It took quite a while taking photos, the guy doing the demo told me it takes about 120 photos per scan position, this made me wonder how Topodot copes with images from this scanner.

We have the Riegl VZ1000 and the 5 images per scan are great for checking things. Is anyone using a Faro Focus scanners in Topodot?
Hello John,
There was a recent patch to Scene software to export the images in the E57 format. I've seen images from a Faro 330 scanner. I'm not quite sure if this export will work for the M70 but you can try.
Hi John,

Just to add on to what Jennifer posted, the images are all combined into a total of about 6 images.
You can see their plugin here:

Hi Guys. I don't think it was so much as a "patch" to Faro Scene, I believe it is an add-on and the company that developed it charges a fee for it. You can contact: SCAN2FX at: sales@scan2fx.com for additional info.

Good luck!
